Lisa VanRaemdonck, Senior Consultant

I am passionate about creating spaces for people to discover new ways of thinking and being. I accomplish this as a facilitator, teacher, leadership program director and consultant. I approach my work with a focus on collaboration, systems thinking, building connections, equity and social justice. I have expertise in strategic planning, communication strategy, group facilitation, adult learning, training development, survey methods, qualitative research, collaboration, convening, event planning, policy analysis, systems thinking, landscape review/assessment, framework and concept development, and understanding privilege and oppression in systems.

Currently, I direct the University of Colorado Denver School of Public Affairs Institute where I manage much of the leadership development programming, teach organizational communication in the Bachelor of Public Administration program, and provide consulting and facilitation services to foundations, nonprofits and government entities. Prior, I served as Executive Director of the Colorado Association of Local Public Health Officials and co-directed the Colorado Public Health Practice-Based Research Network. I am certified in the EQi 2.0 and EQi 360 emotional intelligence assessments and the Change Style Indicator, am trained as a Second Circle racial healing facilitator, and teach in the Colorado School of Public Health. I have volunteered in animal shelters and animal welfare for more than 17 years.
