Karen Trierweiler is a master’s prepared nurse midwife and experienced public health professional, with over 30+ years experience in Public Health. She served as the Title V MCH Director in Colorado for 11 years. She is currently a consultant and founding partner of Total Population Health, with primary interests in public health and organizational development. 

Karen received a Distinguished Service Award from the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment in 2012, a Recognition of Distinction for state Maternal Child Health Leadership from the Association of Maternal Child Health Programs (AMCHP) in 2016 and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) for Excellence in MCH in 2017.
